How it works

Step 1: Request a Quote

I contact the lost and found department to obtain the reference number for the lost item, as well as its weight and dimensions.

The more accurate the given information, the closer the estimate will be to the final rate.

I send a quotation request to BDM by email
ot@bagagesdumonde.com specifying this information.

A quotation will be sent within 24 hours (on working days).

Step 2: Validate the quote and order transportation

To book the transportation, I print, complete and return the power of attorney and Proforma invoice documents and the signed quotation by email to ot@bagagesdumonde.com ,
or by fax +33 (0) 1 34 38 58 99.

Step 3: payment

I receive the invoice by email or fax that confirms the weight, size and the rate of my shipment.

I proceed to make payment by credit card or bank transfer before the departure of the goods.

To save time, it is possible to make the payment online on through our website (according to the payment rules).

Step 4: Transport

Bagages Du Monde will pack the item and prepare the documents required for transportation.

Step 5: Follow the shipment

I get the tracking number from the BDM by email (conditions, flight details, ...).

I regularly check my inbox to which BDM will send me a message with shipping details and updates of the shipment (delayed, held by customs etc.).
